24/7 Emergency Locksmith in Cannon Beach, OR

A panic exit bar (or crash bar) is a spring-loaded door latch mechanism required by OSHA and local fire codes on commercial emergency exit doors. It allows occupants to push and exit freely in an emergency while preventing unauthorized exterior entry. We repair dogging mechanisms, vertical rod latches, and install new exit devices.

Yes, absolutely. Lockouts and key emergencies happen when least expected—late at night, early in the morning, or during holidays. Local Locksmith maintains active mobile response technicians on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to respond rapidly to residential, automotive, and commercial emergencies.

We believe in honest, upfront pricing with zero hidden surcharges. Our technician arrives on-site, evaluates your specific lock hardware (residential deadbolt, high-security cylinder, automotive transponder, or commercial mortise), and gives you a clear project estimate before picking up any tools. You must approve the price before any physical work begins.

High-security locks (such as Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, and Schlage Primus) feature patented key control, hardened steel drill-resistant pins, sidebars, and dual-locking mechanisms. They are virtually impossible to bump or pick with standard tools and require authorized signature cards to duplicate keys.

Yes. Our mobile auto locksmiths are equipped with specialized automotive lock decoders (such as Lishi tools) and non-marking entry tools designed specifically for modern domestic and foreign vehicles. We open cars without triggering security lockouts or damaging delicate electronic sensors.

Yes. When a key shears off inside a lock cylinder, attempting to pry it out with paperclips or tweezers often pushes the fragment deeper or damages internal wafers. Our mobile vans carry precision spiral and hooked key extractors that safely remove broken brass pieces in minutes, allowing us to cut a replacement key on the spot.

Yes. Even if you do not have a working original key, our automotive technicians can decode your car's lock cylinder or look up your vehicle identification number (VIN) code. We cut high-security laser keys and program transponder chips and proximity fobs on-site, saving you the expense and hassle of a tow truck.

Do not force the key with pliers, as this almost always shears the key off inside the cylinder. A stuck key is usually caused by worn internal pins, loose cylinder set screws, or dry tumblers. Spray a small amount of dry Teflon or graphite lubricant and call our technician to safely extract the key and service the cylinder.
